"Statue of Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, Utah" Johnson

At the intersection of Main St. and South Temple (Brigham St.), the statue of Brigham Young was located in the center of the intersection. In 1993, it was moved further north. The Deseret News building was razed in 1909 to make way for the Hotel Utah (currently the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.)
